I would like to use one of these apps to keep to do lists. In this post i will compare their differences to help decide which to use.
First we must choose where to put our entry. This is different in each app and has a few levels. First we will choose or create a calendar.
Tasks
- You may choose and existing calendar or add a new one. You will be able to create events on these calendars.
Deck
- You must create a new board. When it shows up in your Nextcloud calendar under a new section called Deck. In DAVx5 it will show up as Deck: “what ever you named it”. You will not be able to create events on these calendars.
Step two.
Now you can create a task. Name it set your dates, details and notes. You can add as many as you like.
Now you can add a list. When you add multiple lists they show up looking like tabs. You can not set dates, details or notes. Its just a name for your list.
Step three.
Now you can add subtasks to your tasks. Subtasks exactly like tasks.
Now you can add cards. Name them and set date etc.
Step four.
More tasks or subtasks or subtasks of subtasks of subtasks of subtasks.
Cards cards more cards.
